• The importance of clearly outlining the role you’ll play in their care and what’s expected of them.

• Educating them on the phases of care so they know exactly what phase they’re currently in and where they’re headed.

• Setting expectations and targets throughout the client's care plan and progression.

• Being present and attentive to the client's needs each session, re-educating and communicating effectively.

• Periodically reviewing and reevaluating the client and setting new goals and objectives.
• Knowing when to graduate from care and or refer to a colleague for support.
